“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small people who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it.
Impossible is not a fact… It’s an opinion.
Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare.
Impossible is potential.
Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is nothing.”
-Muhammad Ali
I see this man’s name all over Barrow Neurological Institute when I go for scans and follow-ups. He founded the Parkinson Center there to help others battle the same disease he did. He hoped the center would inspire others to “be as great as they can be.” When I first read his quote above, he became so much greater in my eyes.
Be the outlier, not the average!
There is always someone who defies the odds.
What’s possible is not black and white. In fact, everything is “impossible” until someone proves it otherwise.
Impossible is closed minded… It implies a fixed mindset.
Possible is open minded… It implies a growth mindset.
I mean really, which mindset do you think will serve you best?
If you want change in your life, if you want more in your life, if you have any kind of hope or dream for your life, you must GROW.
If you believe this is as good as it gets, this is as far as you’ll go. That will be your really sad truth. But it doesn’t have to be… Not for one more second.
You can do whatever the frick you want!
God put a purpose in you that no mountain can get in the way of.
I didn’t take “inoperable brain cancer” for the death sentence that so many patients and doctors do. I used it fuel my LIFE!
I woke up on purpose today and I’m going to LIVE like it every NEW day I get.
I hope you do too!
LIfe Practice
- What is the one thing you think is impossible for you?
- Pray boldly to declare your intention to defy it and ask for clarity and peace.
- Write down the best case scenario for your “impossible” dream and visualize it every single day until you believe it.
For me, I thought today was impossible. But here I am. I boldly prayed to the creator of all… to make known my full intentions of living to raise my kids. I even became brave enough to visualize my boys as men, and even fathers… which would make me a grandmother! I still believe it is possible and reject any objection.
You can do this too. Whatever it is… You can come back from it.
You can live new this day and every new day you get.
